Get some redline wheels or any 17" cheap wheels and take a look at the new M&H slick in this link.

You will not find slicks that will fit the 18s. Not drag slicks. You want a big, tall, soft sidewall for drag racing. Pick up a set of 2 ion redline wheels, and get either a set of 17" drag bike slicks, or get drag radials. Or if you wanna get really serious, get LSJ front brakes, grind them down, and run 15" wheels. Otherwise you're just gonna have to learn to drive better, you can't just hammer down the whole way down the strip. You gotta know how to launch these cars.

Yes they will fit but i would recommend a 3mm spacer but not needed.

No spacer

will those slicks fit them though? they were 245/45 17 and the ion wheels are 7.5 wide same as our stock 18s...

7" wide but they will work for straight line traction, but i wouldn't be flying around curves with them

yes they will fit fine. You might have a rubbing issue while lowered, but you really shouldn't be driving to and from the track on slicks anyways.

does anyone have experience with the nt05s? i have read the have a nice soft compound, and are as close to a drag radial you can get on a street tire, i wonder if i get some if theyll hook good at the track?

If you want a nitto drag radial look at the NT05R. The R tires are the actual drag radials. The normal 05s are just summer street tires.

Did you see the Drag radial in the link? That's what i'm going with for the street and it's fiberglass belted so it weighs less and will have a softer sidewall.

Op Mickey Thompson makes a 245/40/18 drag radial that will fit the stock TC wheel and MT has the stickiest DR's out.

yeah but they dont have them as big as 18 i was thinking the same thing, just get 2 ion wheels and black them out, and get those radials... or keep my stock wheels and get nt05 or nt05r... i have a spare stock wheel in my basement so i could buy 2 ion wheels or one tc wheel plus rubeer for either way i go...

yeah, M/T recommends at least an 8 inch wide rim too for those 18 inch radials... and H/R springs fill the well pretty well with the stock tire size, so i am reluctant to go any more than 235/40 for tires... if M/T made that size I'd be all over it.

The pic i posted above was a 225/45/17 BFG DR and i could tuck the tire without a problem on coilovers.

Thats prob what I'll run. ZZP told a few people as long as people don't get on their cars below 4krpm, the stock trans should be ok. I can have a really high rev limit with the ZZP built engine. Shouldn't have any issue revving to 7800 or a lil higher.

I don't track my car so i don't have any 60ft times, but i can roach them with ease @60mph. I'm making a bunch more power than you though so they would probably be alright for a bolt on, tuned TC. You have to learn throttle control with any tire you get though cause you're gonna spin.

They were built to be easy on the drive train cause they were breaking **** with the Hoosiers DR's. Its basically like a wrinkle wall slick for the street.
