to be honest i cant be happy pumping out only 12 pounds of boost so i would upgrade the s/c ... so thats what i would invest my money in ... i did hear somewhere that a cobalt maxed out 16psi but my goal is to run 19's

I agree with Cavy. I live in DC so I sit in a lot of traffic so tint would be first on my list. Then probably a cat back exhaust and intake. Then probably a drop and hopefully some sort of computer upgrade. Thats maybe 1500 bux tho. I dunno what I would do with the rest. Maybe invest in it a IRA

 

you'd have to fill the trunk with $5000 of sand to run 19's.

if you mean 19psi , don't set goals like that, because you can be running a lot of boost but have a car that is not much faster and just kill the engine; set ET (time) goals it is the best way to measure a car. , you can definatly get a 13 sec run out of the stock blower.

 

1st on my list is gonna be tint, then the Razzi rear spoiler to get rid of that silly wing... 3rd will be lowering it, then after that, maybe a catback and that SCDyne LSJ header i just saw up there^^^

AND Vector... i imagine with an intake /exhaust/ header/ eCU + fuel mods / modded bipass valve ... you would hit 13's .

(I don’t want to hear it about the 20’s. I like them and they fit the coupe’s large wheel wells perfectly IMO )

 

if money wasnt a problem i would take the supercharger out and put in a turbo and then put in everything that my turbo needs to run nice

2. wheels (Racing Hart C5's hopefully)
3. SCDyne Header
4. W or CAI
5. catback exhaust
6. PSI-FI piggyback controller (if I still had cash left)

I'm with you EvenStar, my gf already has some Streetglow red neons for underneath lol, (Xmas present) and i'm having my dealership prder my RK Sport ram air fiberglass hood and putting it on before i jump in the car and drive it off the lot.

 

I'd have upgraded to leather heated seats and XM radio. Other than that I don't think I would change much. I am not a big moder or whatever. And by not big I mean I don't at all.

suspension and brake upgrades, full coilover suspsnsion prefferably b+G suspension or H&R suspension, strut bars front and rear, larger front and rear sway bars, upgraded bushings all around, and upgrade to big brakes all around, and tint, and a shorter shifter B&M baby. and if theres money left over, swap out cheap looking recaro's with some nice momo leather sport seats.

 

Some things i would do:
1) Enkei Racing rims
2) Rk sport CF ram air hood
3) GM-Stage 2
If i got more money i would:
