GM may be annoucing later today one hell of an incentive to buy an 06, because the SS/SC has been left out on any incentives in the past I'm not sure it wil be included in this deal either....time will tell.

 

I got tired of waiting to see if they were eer gonna do anything with them.

 

The SS/SC is more of what you'd call a specialty car.. Made in lesser quantities then the other models, specifically so that it stands out, and doesn't become just another car on the road.

I personally don't think it will be included in this deal, but as you said only time will tell.

 

yup, my dealership sold 4 in the last year. not due to poor sales of the car just due to stock. i bought my car before it even hit the lot!

 

??????? I got all available incentives on my 05...it's been included before, why not be included now?

 

thats true, i got the gas card, i got lower gst rate, lower lease rate, AND my discount for working at my company (get a good deal with gm)

 

Chevy's been offering incentives on all but the SS/SC so far, I think it will make the cut but as I said.....time will tell.

Besides the $500 dealer incentive, there was nothing for me. They had my car shipped from 150 miles away because none of the closer dealerships even had one in stock, and mine was only the second one sold in the county.

 

If you're interested in 72 month @ 0% interest check with your Chevy dealer ASAP, it starts tomorrow and only will last 72 hours.

I can't say what all 06's cars is included, I can tell you it does include the HHR ( which is what I'm getting ), best thing is to get on the phone with your dealer and find out about the car your interetsed in. Good luck.

It's a GOOD thing that cash rebates aren not offered on the 2.0 by GM! That means the car is selling well, and the value of the car will hold better than a car WITH cash rebates.

 

4.9% on SS/SC & 5.9 on Sedan.

 

I know that in Canada GM is offering a $1000 credit to people who own Cavaliers until the end of the month. Also i know they are also offering 0% for 48 months and i think i heard it might be 0% at 60 months too.

 

there is at least 10 SS/SC's sittin at the dealership where i bought mine

 

I've read over at one of the HHR forums that the deal goes until July 5th, I'm not sure if that is correct or not so you might want to check with your dealer...although the longer you wait the slimmer the choices will be.

 

It would be interesting to know how long those 10 last, if they can't move them with this deal then there's something wrong. JMO

 

hey im new to the forums and i was interested in purchasing a 06 ss/sc colbalt (doing a little web research) came across this site! i came across this topic... what exacly is it that i should wait for b4 buying one? i dont thing i understood the previous post clearly...

 

The SS/SC was being included in the employee pricing scheme last summer when my mother bought her base 'Balt.
