Cars been at the dealer for almost 2 weeks now. I just want to pick it back up and make an appointment. Who knows how long it'll be until they get te parts.

I'm glad they had to do this. I need to get a new key anyway. The only key I have is so worn out that when I put it in one way it works fine, turn it 180° and insert it again and you have to wiggle it to get past lock and I haven't had any spares made because they use the old key to make a new one....it's much too worn out.

That is true, but I can buy a pass key online for little of nothing compared to what the dealership wants. When I got my key fob programmed they tried to sell me another key, they wanted 75 for the key and 25 to program it to the car. I laughed out the door.
