Has anyone had this problem? I go to turn off the ignition on my 06 ss and i cant get the key all the way turned so it will release and come out. I have to re-start, move the wheel a bit, or shift and try to turn it off again to get the interlock to dis-engage and let go of the key. At least i think its the interlock.

I guess taking it to the dealer is my only option, has anyone else experienced this issue and if so any advice? I don't think it's covered on warranty.

 

Mine does this when the steering wheel is locked but I don't restart it. I just kind of turn the wheel a little back and forth while turning the key back and forth a bit with it. Works everytime but gets annoying.

Edit: Now that I think about it there "MAY" be a TSB on this. I thought I saw it mentioned in Alldata but I don't have access at the moment.
