Improvements for 07 models???

I'm still in the market for a Cobalt SS. Anyone have an 07 Cobalt? I read in the problems threads that there's been a lot of problems with previous year models. Has GM made any improvments for 07 to the car that anyone has read about or heard of?

Thanks for some inputs!

I test drove the 07 g5 gt and an improvement it was all the plastics are tight,no rattles new stereo and steering wheel etc the headlights look better. The 05 had there problems, the 06 even less and on the o7 loks like they took care of the things that bother me on mine,it usually take the 3rd year to get it right

The 2007 models feature a new, 3 spoke steering wheel design, the blake tie radio, and improved sunroof clip among other things. So basically you are assured that the sunroof button trip piece will not fall out any more like the 05-06 cars.

Some people like the new steering wheel, others don't. Same goes with the radio. I like the new radio as I feel it is more intuitive to use, plus I think it looks a little better too. The new steering wheel feels good in your hand but now that I have had the car for a while I find that the old one was a little more comfortable while cruizing on the highway.

Your bumper may still come misaligned from the factory, mine did, but the interior does look to be held to slightly higher tolerances. The interior trim paint still chips, but so far no squeaks or rattles.

I got the bumper re-aligned at the dealer before delivery so now the car looks great. I just wish they would have given the 07's different headlights and an interior dome light.

Overall, I am happy with the car and would pick it over an 06 again.

all cars, especially when they're new models have problems. Dont let those bother you. Your guranteed to have a problem sometime but not an everyday thing man.

i just bought an 07 LS and so far i dont really know the differences other than the steering wheel and we just noticed that the DRL's are the highbeams on the headlights instead of the turn signals.

so far i am VERY satisfied with my 07. I also know with the 07's there is a 5 year 100000 mile warranty that comes with em as well. I havent really been around too many 05 or 06 models to notice too many other differences.

I HATE the new steering wheels. Feels way too bulky. The radio I can give or take, although I do like the 06 setup better with the DIC info buttons on the dash (06) rather than the steering wheel (07) but thats just preference.

One thing that bothered me with the 07 was the sunroof when you closed the door. It would actually lift a little. Never noticed that on my 06, but it couldve been a bum car (well, I know it was a **** car lol).
