Installed HID kit, flickering problem!

So I ordered a HID Kit and a relay harness but from diff sellers. HIDS arrived within 2 days and the relay it's been a week and still waiting, so I decided to install the HIDS without a relay harness. Used the stock harness, pretty easy wiring for gen 2's and they came on. It's a 35w kit btw. But then I noticed it's really not that big of a deal, not like crazy flickering but there is a little bit that you can see when aiming at a wall.

The lights are 5000K which is a pure white / hint of blue and you can see it turning yellowish when it flickers. Also they don't look as bright as I thought they would be. For example my fog lights are wired with a relay harness 6000K and they're like twice as bright having in mind low beams are 5000K they should put out more output.

I was wondering those people who have HID kits without relay harness if you have the same issue?

Someone told me to pull the DRL fuse and it would fix it, I haven't tried this yet.

What are other solutions? Chances are I'll get my relay harness within the next 3 days and install it but for the meanwhile I'm wondering how to have them working properly on stock wiring.

Thanks!

Pull the fuse and see what happens. I'm still rocking sans fuse even after I pulled the projectors, looks better imo. I ran a 35 watt system for a few years with no relay harness and no issue. Wait and see what happens with the relay harness if the fuse solution doesn't work. Btw, aftermarket projectors reduce bulb temperature color by roughly 1000k, which is why they look off.

Does the '06 model have the DRL fuse? Some people told me it doesn't have it. Yeah I'll deff try the relay harness and thanks for the 1K tip I'll end up getting/making retros in the future!

I'm an 08. I believe the 06 DRL run through the corner light wiring, so no it shouldn't have one.
