Installed my zzp intake tonight

Well I installed my intake on my car tonight it's the three inch one piece zzp with alot of help from some good friends, and I love it already , my car was stock so the whine sounds amazing now, anyone who is looming for sn intake should get it for sure, it was a pain in the butt installing it though.

love mine also!

you might want to check if its rubbing on any of the frame or ECU
i had to take mine out and place Vac lines on some parts of the frame and the top 2 fins of the ECU to keep it from rubbing

I helped him do the install. I made sure there is no rubbing. His 2005 seemed to somehow have less room than my 2006. It is the tightest install ever. Good thing I had done mine already so I knew what to expect.

Mine is a 2 piece. Was a bitch to install too. I got it in right (no rubbing) but I have heard many others that didnt. One time I had it worked on at the dealership and they couldnt even get back on right. I had to do it

I also have this intake and I freaking love it!! I had the injen before and the zzp intake sounds way better and it gained me more hp over the injen! So glad turbotim talked me into it!

WOW. In Keiser's pic it looks like the K&N is in a different spot/position than the 2 piece I have.

Mine is louder. It's also a more hallow sounding whine. I really like it!

I just installed my intake today too! i got the powder coated red one. i did scratch it up pretty good, but thankfully it's all where you can't really see it. also I had one hell of a time gettin the vaccum line back on because of the pcm being in the way. idk if my pcm isn't sitting correctly or what, but damn was it in the way. anyways here's a pic.

small pic... took it with my phone.

N1ckateen, the PCM is just in the way. I wonder if when they designed it, if they thought of the PCM.

it was in the way for me the first time too
but the second time it was easer, almost like the intake is sitting high and over the PCM

Don't forget to mention that you need a bolt for under the headlight since they don't supply you with one. I also went from an Injen to this and it does feel like there is a little more power and the whine is deffinately louder and more throaty sounding.
