insurance question

Can you drop insurance on a vehicle with a lien on the title if you're just storing it for the winter months?

As far as I know, you have to keep full coverage on it if you still have a loan out for the car. When it is paid off you can put fire/theft on it when you store it in the winters.

If it's financed look at your contract there will be a part that say's you agree to keep full coverage on the car until it's paid for.

Well remember until they send you the title then they will want insurance on the car because it is technically the banks until it's paid off.
