intake delema(sp)

this was the best forum i thought to post this...

well when spring rolls around, I'm going to have to take the ride to the quarter car wash and blow out the engine bay. i live on a dirt road so my engine bay is not the cleanest. I'm trying to figure out how i can cover the air filter. should i put a bag over the filter element and zip tie it closed? or is there something i can use to cover the tb if i take the intake off all together. it seems like option 2 is too risky. any suggestions

btw its a short ram, not that it really matters

but will that resist water pressure from a carwash powerwasher? even if its just a quick pass over it?

I'd bag it with a few garbage bags, the whole intake, and make sure you tape then ends of the bag.

im not sure about that, but i know there good for when it rains n what not. umm.... u cood take the filter off and jus like duct tape the end of the intake or something. bag over it (garbage bag id suggest, not a plastic bag)
