I bought mine when I was stationed in Wyoming. Get a hydro shield if you are worried about it. I havent had any problems with water.

If you do get an intake get a stainless one. I would wait for OTTP to release theirs.

I have an injen.....I just currently drove through 6 inches of snow today. I drive through puddles, rain, and mud in the summer. Nothing will happen unless you decide to go muddin' with your off roading boys.

Do you plan on driving your car in a lake? If not, I would get an intake.

There is nothing to be worried about. Just as long as you don't suck up any water.

Even if you drive in the rain it's still not going to make a difference. Flooding will. But not rain.

Plus you have the wheel shield guard

The chances of hydrolocking are very rare...i've driven through 5-6 inches of water when the street I was on flooded, and nothing got sucked up. I don't have a hydroshield either, as said earlier, you won't have any problems unless you drive into a lake.
