Exclamation intake resonator, HELP!!! have a problem

well i tried to take out the resonator.

i took out the head light and unplugged it.
took off the headlight braket.
took off the top of the air box but couldnt get bottom cause i coould not reach the star screw at the bottom of the box.
and couldnt get the "bong" out.

so i said **** it and put the air box back together, then the headlight bracket. then i put headlight back in and hooked it up and made sure that worked.

NOW THE BIG PART, i was moving it out of the garage and cleaning it up and NOW my CHECK ENGINE light is on and wont go off!!!!

any ideas

Dumb question but did you unplug anything? You should be able to disconnect the battery and it will clear. Or go to autozone and have them check the code.

Try going through the fender well to take out the snorkle. It makes it a lot easier. And what Tank07 said disconnect your battery to reset the computer.

Well you don't have to take off the wheel just turn it a bit to get to the fender easier. I think it would be less obvious than taking the headlight anyway. It's just some bolts then pull the fender well back a bit to get to the snorkel.

can you explain how you go through the fender?
allright........go in your wheel well........you see that black plastic?

thats what you want to take out......there are tabs that you pop out and a few bolts......just look at it and find all of them

once you remove them the plastic piece drops out..........then you have full access to everything you need

just be careful reinstalling............you have to get the plastic piece back in the lip of the fender

is that what you needed or do you need clarification?
