Interior neons/leds???

For those of you who have done some interior lighting... where did you mount your lights??? I started looking and there is like nothing under the dash to mount the tubes to.

Maybe I'm just missing something but I am lost... and there seems to be little clearance under the seats without damaging the tube... I am sure there is a way, but I'm pretty much retarded when it comes to this type of stuff.

Any advice is appreciated. And PLEASE... don't start the flaming and telling me not to do it etc... I'm just looking for advice on this type of stuff.

Holla

Sounds straight to me... I'm assuming the light output is good too... can you post some pics of this? Just so I can see the mounting? I'm at work like everyday this week and might have some time friday...just want to know what I should plan on.

I used something like this in my truck, where space was limited. They are super thin and come with a 3M backing to stick up under the dash board, you can't even see them, just the super bright light. You can get them off Ebay, or I got them at Pep Boys

Mine were a pain in the ass to get in there, took me about a half an hour to get it just right. I have 2 12" LED bars under the dash, I zip-tied them on the ends to get them to stay, that was the easiest method.

I am then going to put a bunch of small LED's in my air vents/speakers, just haven't got around to it yet.

CobaltLT - Yea the zip tie thing is what some other people told me to do... I have two 10" bars under there now...but not hidden, which = garbage... that's why I'm trying to figure out how you guys did it. Where did you attach the ties? I had hard ass time trying to see what was going on under there...

You can just hold them with Zip-Ties around whatever you can find... Double up the ties to make them long. Loop it around something and tighten them just to the point that it's where you need the tube to sit..
