Only -37C here with the windchill. Or -35F for our American friends.

We're supposed to be getting that **** tonight into tomorrow up here in the North East. With the wind chill it will be in the mid -30*F range. I look forward to it, especially considering I work outside on heavy machinery. Frost bite ftw! lol

It's "only" -5*F with the wind chill right now. So it's not quite as bad just yet. Still aint fun though that's for damn sure.

High today of 80*F. It dipped below freezing at night last week tho. Heater ran in the mornings.

This place FILLS with old Canadians and North Dakotans in the wintertime. It's not worth it. The average speed on the roads is proportional to the temperature outside. So frustrating.

Yeah, it's about -12*C here at the moment not including the wind chill, so I'm just about there with ya.

Gotta speak Canadian talk when you're referring to cold weather I guess. Looks more intense!

Right, but -18C is roughly 0F and -12C is 10F. Point is, around the 0*F mark it sounds so much worse when you convert it to Celsius.

Adversely, what sounds hotter? 40*C, or 104*F? Both are really the same, but Fahrenheit sounds SO much hotter! haha

The farenheit scale is just stretched out and zero'd around a different point, and to be honest, it's really handy to have 0c = freezing, and 100c = boiling.

Got in my car after work and it said 2F. Actual air temperature. Windchill was -17F.

It was only 6pm.

Don't know how you Canadians do this for most of the winter.

Thankfully the cobalt is hiding in the garage

It's really the wind that ruins everything. It can be -30, but if there isn't a breath of wind it's not bad out at all. Whereas it can be -5, but if there is wind gusts it's so flipping cold.
