JDM Cobalt headlights?

I was just looking around EBay, and saw JDM cobalt headlights. Doesnt "JDM" stand for Japan Domestic Market? How can Chevy Cobalts have JDM lights out there? From what I can tell they are just lights that have a black housing. Did I miss something? Just wondering. Maybe its just to get the listings into more searches but.......

And another:

Sorry for my lack of know how.

LOL LOL LOL and again LOL. JDM is Japanese domestic market. Though what they are talking about there is the styling of the headlight, those don't look too bad....I guess if you were lazy and didn't want to just black your own headlights out on the inside then that wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Its all about context... in this context they are trying to play the "japanese" part of it.

Yes it can mean other stuff.. but they are definately trying to make you think "japanese domestic market" because it sells alot of stuff in the import scene.
