Just took Delivery TODAY!!!

Hey guy and gals...

Ordered my Cobalt SPORT the first part of November from my friendly local neighborhood Chevy store. I am in a small (Mayberry like town) and my family and I have dealt with these people forever. I ordered Imperial Blue with Gray Leather and Auto. The SPORT is pretty much loaded before any options.
They called yesterday and said it was in and would be ready for me to pickup this morning. We had worked out a close deal at order, but since that time, as you may know, GM "sweetened the pot" with addition money for incentives. Sooo.. the deal went like this at signing. Hang on... ya gonna love it!! Window Sticker was $21,310.00. He was kind enough to discount that $1,284.45, bringing sale price down to $20,025.55,, which the way I figure it, is dealer invoice cost for that model. Now, we deduct $1,000.00 for GM's Cash Allowance and another $1,000.00 for GM's Bonus Cash and an additional $3,486.00 of my "old" GM mastercard which would deduct an additional $5,486.00, bringing
the total to $14,539.55. On top of that, he also deducted another $333.00 that is usually charged as a GM "advertising fee" originated by GM for all GM cars. He also waived the usually charged $149.00 dealership "processing fee" and... gave me our states 30 day temporary tags and registration at no charge! I prefer to do my own DMV (Motor Vehicles) paperwork. A very simple procedure here.
Bottom line is ...that loaded 08 SPORT with Leather and Auto out the door cost me ....da da da da (drum roll)......$14,206.55 !! That's a total discount of $7,103.45 off Sticker!
The car is flawless.....I could not be more pleased with both the car and the deal.

Not bad at all for an '08 SS non supercharged.......which is basically what the "Sport" is.

Sounds like chevy is doing all they can to sell cars. Why didn't you wait for the SS/TC? You probably wouldn't have gotten the same deal, but it wouldn't be a ton more than the sticker price.
