Just Uncorked Her

Hello all,
I have a Silver Cobalt SS and having put 500 easy going miles on it to warm up the transmission, brakes, and supercharger I just cut my new baby loose. WOW! Great launch tore through the gears and pushed my girlfriend back into her seat. I'm going to be putting on a front grill to protect my intercooler. Will this be a problem for airflow? I am really looking for a set of breaks and a nice adjustable suspension to lower and raise my new cobalt. I was hoping for a few references and recomendations from the wise folks here at CobaltSS.net Any help is welcome. I love this car.

It would be a good idea to cover it with a mesh, but it's not the intercooler. It's just your AC condenser. The intercooler is an air to water aftercooler which is attached to your intake manifold.

I would not really mess with the suspension unless you either know what you are doing, or are just interesting in the look of a lowered car. The Cobalt SS' suspension was painstakingly tuned by GM engineers, and handles better than most production cars on the market right now.

Its the heat exchange for the intercooler.

I thought that was all integrated in the attached assembly mounted to the intake manifold. There's a diagram on the forum somewhere.

Edit:

It doesn't show the "radiator" as part of the assembly, but it is what feeds the coolant to the laminova heat exchanger (part num 503).
