i think its when you spray the surface of the car with water, then paint it, then wipe the water off so there is a "raindrop" like effect on the surface showing white through the stripes. However i'm lacking a picture. Sorry i'll look though.

its kind of an acquired taste

Don't know what the raindrop is but its your car. maybe if we got pics of what it looks like. have your brother ask his buddy what that effect is, maybe its something decent and none of us know.

Lime green seems a bit extremeish but you do what you like. It will be original. especially if you keep the theme throughout. I would think a darker green like hunter would look nice, and would def look amazing in a painted interior.

**BOTTOM LINE**

It's cool to ask opinions but in the end, its your car. Don't let anyone calling you rice or flaming you for what you like affect your decision. We each bought our cars to make them our own. I have done things that some guys on this site don't like. I have done things that these guys like and my brother in his ford explorer call me rice for. he gave me a hard time this weekend since My car is working its way to full color matched orange (headlights, interior, neons). If you like it, go for it!

should look good!
welcome to the site. also since yor having paint work done i would look into a high rise wing and have it painted white to match yor car, i'm pretty sure yo wold be the first with that.
if i had white thats what i'd do, but not everyone likes the high rise spoiler.
either way, i agree with everyone else make it your own, regardless of what other ppl think its your car to do with what yo want.
