Well I've always wanted a set of retros had eBay projectors in my lsj and previous owner put a shitty set of eBay projectors in the snail, so I've started building my own, as if I don't have enough projects right now.

Got a buddy whose gonna paint them my body color, red demon eyes and bixenon hids. Nothing fancy, but I'm making them myself! If this goes well, gonna make my local cobalt buddy a set as a feel better present. Cracked his block last weekend

Since it's likely you'll get the lighting mod bug shortly after finishing them. Buy a set of good Mini H1's from theretrofitsource, I can see little marks in the lens in your current projectors, which turn into lines and odd hotspots that look poopy.

They're like $120 for the projectors, thats the one part you can't upgrade easy down the road (bulbs and ballasts are simple to upgrade)

Just making sure, first set I made I didn't do that and got lucky they were lined up correct. Realized I was lucky on that set and have since always checked.

Ya no, seriously man i really do appreciate the advice! I am by no means an expert and am always open to tips! Gonna finish this set up and probably use them over the winter. Got 2 more sets of stock headlights in my garage. Gonna make my buddy a set and then make myself a really nice set in spring i think. Also still need to finish my sedan RPD pillar, Powder coat my lnf wheels, Got some zzp boxes that need their contents installed on the car, swap in my black hvac and radio, finish my dash wrap... Theres no enough hours in the day

I feel ya on the hours, it took me about 2 years to finish the set of retrofits I'm running currently. Also still have a black hvac and radio that has yet to be installed (I've had both for 3years)
