Anyone else get the nice purple car Comment?

 

got three the first day and several since i bought it.

yeah...my friends say it all the time cause they think it gets me mad...ohh well

i think that when the sun hits it just right people see purple...all i see is blue though

 

at least its not that amyset (sp) paint.

 

i get blurple all the time lol but ppl love it when they see it esp when the suns out =)

 

i see more purple then blue lol

 

i have gotten blurple too...which is what i use when someone says it is purple

Eh... people call mine purple just to try to make me mad. I humor them sometimes by pretending to be all hissy over it... but really I'm just laughing on the inside cause it's mostly those who have the now discontinued (because it sucked) Arrival Blue... lol.

 

I dont get it since mine is red, but this guy at work gets that **** all the time

 

I think it does look purple. Maybe that is just because I hove one of the REAL blue cars the discontinued (because it was over sold because it rocked) arival blue!

 

Once in awhile.

 

Laser Blue > Arrival Blue

 

The day I took delivery some teenage girl shouted "damn that car is blurple" Then at work I had to fight with my coworkers for 2 weeks about it actually being blue and not purple. I think the general consencus is the color rocks.

 

bluestreak mettalic is the new laser,aliitle less purple to it, bur pretty much the same

ok...heres my question.

these cars have been around for about three years now(maybe four?) and so far we have at least three different colors of blue coming out. in a few years that is going to suck...even though all the pieces are the same the colors are different so say something happens to a body part (back into a tree, whatever...) you wont be able to have an easy solution of going to the junk yard and grabbing a fender off of a wrecked on because the colors wont match up.

anybody else forsee this hassle of having to go to the dealer or get one painted for something stupid that happened?

 

I love my Laser Blurple Cobalt!

I have gotten the "it looks kinda purple" comment a lot but it doesnt bother me. I know it looks sweet and most people agree.

I went and got an estimate the other day to have a little touch up work done on the body and at the top where it had all the specs for the car it said purple! I'm not sure if that was computer generated or if the guy typed it in. Oh well.

 

it looks purpley around sun up & sun down(red+blue=violet)... but day time it kinda gradiates from blue to purple if you look down he side... its a metalic paint its gunna vary in shade/hue. I dont care what anyone says i think it looks sweet.

 

ARRIVAL BLUE is way better than laser purple mettalic. I like the color but too much purple in it for me. My fav color is blue so I am biased.

 

i would take arrival blue over blurple any day. I think it looks cool

 

you all just jealous b/c laser blue has more depth & variation then the other colors.

Now we're going to argue over which shade of Blue is the best? Seriously, there's got to be something better.

I prefer Arrival Blue, but they don't make that color anymore.

 

My favorite color is blue too... but I like the Laser Blue better.

Arrival Blue is simply blue. It's a metallic blue. That's it. Laser Blue changes hues in different lights and at different angles. You really can't argue with that. It does have a purple tint in it. But at other angles it looks deep blue.


At any rate, I was just kidding about the Arrival Blue comment I made way earlier. I was teasing cause the other Arrival Blue owners that I hang out with usually get on my case about my purple car. I like both colors... I just prefer Laser Blue. It's all opinion.
