leather came off the shift knob.

While i was driving home for easter my leather came off my shift knob. I popped the top off and it exposed a star screw and where the leather went. My question is how do i take apart the knob completley and how do i re glue the leather to the knob. Or put it back on.

You still under the bumper to bumper warrenty. If so GM will fix it, that's if the car came with it.

true true but the nearest dealership is 30 minutes away. i dont know if i want to waste the gas to go there. Not if its an easy fix.

In the how to area there is a how to install a hurst short throw shifter. It starts with how to remove your shift knob.

The leather is just tucked into slots on the bottom and top! A little superglue and a small screwdriver to push it in! I replaced it on my car with the seat fabric
