Lighting Question

I ordered some xenon plasma blue lights on ebay. The package reads HID class 4500k 12v 100/80W, This is the second set that i've ordered. The first ones blew a low beam after about a month, so I thought ok maybe I touched them installing or something so I ordered some more. A couple days later a high blew on the other one. I was wondering if these are some good lights or should I put something else in. Of course I like the blue look but they really aren't bright enough.

If the true Wattage is 100/80 then its WAY to much for your headlight wiring harness. Probly a reason they blew.

you probably ordered the same brand i did for my cavalier several years back. a low beam blew after a couple months, the filiment just detached itself... So I just reinstated the stock lows and left the highs in which have surprisingly sustained a couple years.

Okay thanks, they were cheap only 10 bucks shipped. I went to wal-mart and got some sylvania cool blue and they are much brighter but they don't give out the blue appearance.

I ran streetglow xenons for over a year which were 100w, so 100w is not too much for our stock wiring
