Limp Mode underboost please help

Im just going to throw this out there to a broader audience.

I have a 2008 Cobalt SS (turbo obviously) with a Typhoon air intake. *bought it this way.

I have been getting a randomly occurring P0101 code in the pending. Seems to happen more frequently with the outside temp dropping. I have done the boost leak test and I didnt find any leaks except a very tiny sound of air coming through the PCV valve.....just a very tiny amount.

I hook up my code reader/scanner while I'm driving now on a regular basis....as soon as it goes into limp mode (wont boost above 4PSI) I clear the pending P0101 and it goes back to *normal* around 15PSI. Sometimes when I am on the highway and it happens I will clear the code and it will boost up to near or at 20PSI.

I replaced the MAF just to eliminate that possibility and its still happening.

Anyone else ever experience this and if so what might fix it?

Well I would say to atleast try and fix that pcv valve leak and keep looking if it still happens after that

Well PCV tube/check valve replaced...still getting the dang P0101. Cant find a boost leak at all. Car seems to go into limp mode only while idling occasionally, or while cruising on the highway.

yeah and it seems to always stay in the pending, but as soon as it happens the car goes into limp mode it won't boost above 5 psi, luckily I keep my scan tool handy all the time so when it happens I erased the code real quick and it'll boost up to 20 psi for about 5 or 10 minutes before going back to the stock 15
