I love how the Vette just kept screwing with them and they didn't realize it. He was on his brakes more then he was the gas!

Actually...That's a DRM top end package with a 150 shot. Not an LPE or a callaway

Actually John Lingenfelter Was testing the ECOtec motor for GM when he had the crash that led to his death. He was in the process of working with them to make the motor better, and gather info for him to make parts. When he passes away though, tho's plans went MIA.

"Over his distinguished career, Lingenfelter won 13 career national event events in Competition Eliminator and was the first driver in the class to break the six-second quarter-mile barrier. He finished second in the Pro Stock Truck standings in 1998, which was the first year of competition for the now defunct class. At a career-best E.T. of 7.08 seconds, his Cavalier was once considered the world's quickest four-cylinder drag racing vehicle."

This was the ECOtec that he had been working on.

Lingenfelter has a TT kit for the C5 that makes it the quickest accelerating street car in the world. I cant remember which magazine it was, but they compared its acceleration to an f/a18 jet, and it out accelerated it up to 150 mph! I think the 0-60 was like 1.97 seconds or something.... thats nasty. The kit looks cool too, it makes the motor a 7.x liter, but the engine covers still say 5.7 lol. It looks totally stick except for the larger hood.
