Lookie Lookie '05 SS for $7,000

So is this real or fake.
The guy says he will sell it for $7,000 and ship it anywhere, from London at his cost.
Check it out then email him. I have already told him it's too good to be true.

This was his email response to my original inquiry

Service records and original manuals are available and they will also be delivered with the car. There are no scratches, dents or chips on the paint, the interior does not have any tears or rips, there are no mechanical issues with the car. The tires have plenty of thread left, about 75%. It's safe to say that the car is in excellent overall condition.
The reason I'm selling it is that I have moved to London, UK and I brought the car here to drive it daily to work, however I need to sell it right now along with other assets in order to pay my mortgage debt.
I want to assure you that my first concern in this deal is both our safety, so I suggest we use the shipping company's escrow department to supervise the transaction.
As far as shipping is concerned I will pay for door-to-door shipping because there's no sense in dragging you into the shipping cost too. It will be via Air Freight and it will take no more than 10 working days, depending on your location.
With everything included, the total price that you will pay for the car is $7,000 CANADIAN.
If you have further questions please let me know
Thank you
Mike

This must be a new scam people are trying. I emailed a guy about a seadoo and he said he was in London also because of work. I said it sounded too good to be true and I would have my friend to come over and look at the machine and make the deal for me. I haven't heard back from him.
Hahaha
Since when can they ship cars air freight
Ok its a scam, what they do is they say "send the money to this warehouse or shipping company" which then you never get whatever product your pay for. My boss almost bought a quad of a guy till he did some research about it. Any time they say "lets use this company" its a scam.
could be real, it says 7000 canadian, or wherever he lives, could be pounds? **** if i know, if it's 7000 AMERICAN DOLLARS, then it's fake as hell, or was rolled 23 times on a highway hahaha

This was my response to his email
I doubt I will hear back from him. By now he likely knows the whole community is on to him

The first question was going to be why are you selling at such an undervalued price. Now that you are also going to incur shipping costs to ship it to Vancouver, this deal seems even more unbelievable.
I shipped my car from Vancouver to Toronto, albeit by enclosed truck, and that cost me $2,000.
Doing a deal over such a distance makes me very cautious and I am looking out for the best interests of my co-workers.
Having said that, please let me know more, such as why so cheap. The car looks great and I see a couple of mods. The windows are tinted, the headlights are painted inside, the hood is changed and it is lowered. I don't see any of the usual performance mods so I assume appearance mods and lowering are all you have done. If not please let me know.
Have your rims had the typical flaking issues? Also why not sell it to a Londoner or perhaps to a US military based person and save the shipping? And why list it as Vancouver?
For a little help to know that I am serious (considering the distance) please go to this thread https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/victory_red_ss-goes-rwd-48074/ as that is my project. I look forward to hearing back from you Mike.
Thanks,
