Question looking for GM Online VIN Decoder?

a while back there was a thread here with a website were you can enter your vin number and see what has been done to your car threw gm..ive tried the search button but i cant find it anywhere... if anyone has the link please post it up thanks

those were from gm employees who have access to dealerworld, its not a site for the public.

hmm weird. never heard of that. im almost positive you are talking about a while back when we would give our vins to some members on here and they would enter them in to dealerworld at their work and could give us that info. i dont know of any site that has that sort of information other than dealerworld, which again is not accessable to the public

i know but i could of swear there was a site sorta the same that you enter your own vin and it poped up..im going to find it watch...lol.i thought i saved it but i didnt..i fount it on here in one of these threads...lol

Why not use descriptive titles, like: On-line VIN Decoder?

1.) so when people look, they know what the thread is about.
2.) so when someone searches the title will give them an idea of the thread topic, so they don't have to start there own "read me" thread...

You should be able to change it by going to the post edit, then I believe there is an advanced option or something thereof

The SPS site gives you all the current Tech II calibrations that have come out since your car was manufactured.

That just shows the calibrations that are in the various modules. He's wanting a GM VIS showing the vehicle build options and warranty claims. Post the VIN and myself or someone else can look it up.

just a note.......No one can psot a link to the website or the dealer can lose it's liscense to sell GM"s. Post your vin and we can look it up for you.
