lower air deflector

Can anyone tell me where to buy the lower air deflector, not as a plastic piece but made from sheet metal? I've seen it somewhere, but I can't find it. For a SS/SC.

wow if you want people to help you dont be such a jerk. And good luck making your own, those are some complicated bends, unless you have access to a press brake and a variety of dies.

I was being a "jerk"????? Did you read what this thread was about?? If you did, you would've seen that I ask for measurements....I never ask how does the air deflector attach!!

Let me repost it for you:
csementuh-It attaches with a couple of push pin snaps, take it off yourself to use as a template lol...

"csementuh" is basicly saying I'm a ******* because I didn't know how the deflector was attached....which I already know! He's the *******! I'm ask for M-e-a-s-u-r-e-m-e-n-t-s not how it's ****** attached. I'm not being a jerk, i just don't want a ******* response! And it was if you ask me or anyone else, that's what kind of response "csementuh" gave me!

Thanks for your "thread jack", I really didn't need your input...it's not helping anyways.

So, can someone tell me the measurements of the lower air deflector or is someone willing to measure theirs?

Well aren't you a ********....you should've just said you have the info I was looking for instead of complaining that I was a "jerk".

Anyone else want to help me out?

I'm not lazy...I don't have the stock one any more! It's in some Oklahoma landfill.

OK first of all you're a total ****.

Normally when you ask for help, and are at the mercy of them for help, you don't belittle and degrade them.

You never said you didn't have your OEM deflector. That might of been helpful. Like everyone else said, with you having one, it would have been sheer laziness as to why you didn't measure your own. Considering you've acted like a jackass, I'm not quite to sure anyone wants to help you now.

If you're making a custom unit of your own, why not just measure the mounting whole and make it to the size you want? Isn't that what custom means? The only inportant measurements are the mounting locations. The deflector itself is about 5" tall and as wide as what fits.

Do you think that if I had my stock deflector I would be asking this question....**** NO!! I'm not a ****** lazy bastard that you think I am, you don't know me! I can't "measure the mounting whole"because I'm deployed. I see that the word of the day for you should be HOLE.....H-O-L-E...not whole...you "total ****"!
Now, if I was home, I could do all of this measuring without asking the question on here. Once again, I'm asking for measurements, not "does anyone know what custom means".

Oh sorry man, looks like i missed out on the great opportunity to have the privilege to provide you with measurements. I hope you get banned, there is no place here for idiots like you.

LMFAO. Oops pardon me for having a finger slip, I was intially going to post about 'measuring the whole thing' which would explain the typo.

Doesn't seem like you can do much since you're not here. Maybe you should just wait till your home and look then? Or maybe should drop your 'holier than thou' attitude and ask someone *nicely* to measure their deflector?

Seems like you make up the large population of this forum that give it such a bad name, and an unhelpful presence. Burning your bridges certainly won't see you getting much help. Being 'deployed' would indicate that you are in a branch of the Armed Forces, which if so, I would notice hasn't given you much respect and discipline. That is all. k tnx bai.

when you fail to give is any pertinent information, how can we help you? Then we offer help and you yell at us like we know who, where and what your situation is. You are flying off the handle faster than a crazy female during pms. Get off your muscle shakes and take it easy. If you are deployed, how are you going to make one anyway?!

I guess you didn't read my second post...reread it.

"Does any know the measurements of the lower air deflector? I have sheet metal and I want to make this myself. Someone help me out, please!" That is what i asked and in a nice way.

And than you told me..."It attaches with a couple of push pin snaps, take it off yourself to use as a template lol".

That "lol" is what started this "bashing thing". It sounds like your being a smartass.

northvibe-nobody has really gave a helping hand, nobody has posted any measurements. I plan on making this with sheet metal in a sheet metal shop while I'm deployed...to answer your questions.

So you can feel emotion through words posted on a forum? Now I'm just in it for the lulz...

Sorry, I don't have measurments available. Maybe somebody will be nice enough to go crawl under their car with a tape measure. Then the information will be documented here, and next time someone can simply search for it. Good luck with the build!

ahhh makes sense, but you'll need some very specific numbers to have it bolt up with out modification when you get back.

although punching/drilling a hole isnt to hard in a drive way.
