I didn't realize the 2.2 was sporty.

 

my whole point of putting the spoiler, lipkit on my car

 

they really aint all that sporty as far as looks go and they ARE NOT sporty at all when it comes to performance.. lol

 

I had a yellow 2.2L with the high mount. I didn't like it, but my friend wanted my low mount, so yeah.

Back end sits way too high and the whole suspension does as well. Makes it anti-sporty.

 

well i was thinking about getting the high rise after i lowered it and got some rims on it

 

honestly i hate them on the 2.0 let alone the 2.2... The only LT i like is the kid who i swapped trunks with me...

 

Get a body kit, lower, rims, AND then the wing. If you want a good kit though, i would suggest the rksport full kit. It would look better.

I don't care much for the high rise spoiler period. I do prefer it on the sedan to the coupe though.

That would be awesome then. Go for it, but the ss/sc wing on the stock LS/LT body is horrible looking.

 

the ss/na bumper doesnt have the lip on the front.. the ss/sc bumper has tabs on it and and can be bought with the lip.. the ss/na with a lip has to be custom put on.. back bumper has tabs to i believe..

rksports makes a full replacement front bumper also to..

i love the new front bumper replacement plus g5 skirts and rear lip.. looks perfect

 

do u think just the ss/sc rear bumper would look god wit hthe wing or do u think i should get the whole kit?...cause i like the way the 2.2 front bumper looks

 

if you get the rear bumper with li.. get the rksports front lip and side skirts would look nice then.. otherwise get the ss kit

just the bumper and wing would look tacky, ive seen it with just the rear before bodykit was on, looks low in the back high in the rest. kinda like a muscle car launching lol

 

i sold my trunk with the wing to a guy and when he put it on, imo it looked completely stupid. But to each its own. If u like it, get it. because if you keep thinking about it, ur gonna talk yourself out of it.

you all kno m opinion, some people on here like to get mad at me because i state my opinion about things esp the high rise wing on an LS or LT. They look absolutely ridiculous. I dont even like the high rise wing to much on the SS but at least it looks like its made to be there, not jutting out from a skinny car body to totally disturb the flow and look of the car.

well, i voted no, and i don't like the high rise on the ss/sc either though. on a 2.2, it looks crazy stupid unless you have a drop and body kit at the minimum. I still think overall the wing is silly though.

 

Hence the reason i got a wingless ss/sc

 

anyone got a pic of the high rise on an LT? bc i was thinking about getting one for my black lt but maybe not after reading this thread. i just want to see what it looks like with the lt body before i do it.
