Which model is the rarest???

I would have to say hands down the rarest cobalt model is the 2.4L SS. Im not just saying this because I own one. I just went to my first big cobalt meet, we had over 30 balts and I was the only 2.4L SS. Im glad I picked this model.

QFT, i have the ss/sc in sport red and jack is the only other person i have found on these boards with that color, and since i agree that most people go for the ss/sc if they arent getting the ls or lt models jack might have the rarest cobalt there is.

Honestly I think a blue 2005 SS/SC with G85 is the rarest model. The 2005's were a different color blue than the 06-07's.

I think an SS/SC without a sunroof is by far the rarest one.

The 07's with the G85 that came with the Recaros. Only a few hundred were made in August of 06 before they took the seats away.

I believe the rarest Cobalt would hands down have to be the twin turbo, rear wheel drive Cobalt.
And nobody said anything about it having to be "from the factory"

I did see a sport red SS/SC when I was back in PA last fall. but he/she's not on the forums. If they would have had that color as an option when I ordered mine I would have picked it.

I see a LOT of 2.4s around here, there's 3 in my neighborhood alone. I see at least 1 a day. By far the rarest I think though is an Arrival Blue 2.4 since they only made them for about a month. I've never seen one and I think there's only one person on the forums with one.

I actually DO see a lot of sport red SS's around here. There's 2 SS/SC's, 2 SS sedans, and 2 (possibly 3, can't tell if the 1 is actually driven by 2 different people) SS coupes that I've seen in that color.

i have a question, and dont take this the wrong way, but if you wanted a rear wheel drive car why the hell would you buy a cobalt to start off with?

Kim @ RockyMountainEcotec.net has one of these. Got it a couple months ago. There's tons of that color on our local lot, but nobody gets it because it costs extra. Personally, i love the color.

What I wanted was a manual transmission that would stand up to 750whp. The evolution of the project just led me to doing a conversion that sloved so many problems.
I loved the Cobalt from the first time I saw one on a poster.
I never planned on doing any mods.
I found this forum and the bad people on here got me into modding.
When I started modding for power, I never planned to do this kind of project.
Once I got so far in there was no turning back and failure was not an option.
Does that help to explain it?

Ok so thats 2 of them so far. 2 compaired to how many others? I know it blows the paint is extra cost but IMO it is the best color going aside from Sunburst Orange (My Opinion! Not flaming anyone for thier cars color!) But mine was still the first!

Miller Brother Chevrolet's new car manager Bruce Carter was sure that was to be the next HOTT color! We got 5 SS sedans in painted it, fully loaded. And they sat, and sat, and sat, and sat, and sat. Bruce couldn't figure it out.....I told him not many people want a purple car. Boy did he get pissed! We finaly got rid of the last couple doing stock transfers with other dealerships. I think we actualy sold 2 of the 5.
