Not going straight to hpt, had gms1, then trifecta. Should have just went hpt first and had john work his magic.

I did the 6000k mod, didn't think about where the little metal bits were going and ended up with housings full of aluminum glitter. The HID kit was pretty cheap and I ended up having dark spots on both lamps along with having one flicker. The CCFL halos I put in there were nice though, at least until I busted one of the ends and one ring stopped working.

I will never buy aftermarket housings again. I'm glad my new car came with the perfect headlights lol. Black housings, projectors, HIDs, adaptive headlights.

The dual projector retrofit lights that I built, not that I wasn't happy with how they turned out but because I have probably 1k into a pair of headlights on a base model G5. Everybody said you couldn't fit two projectors in the stock housings so I did it just to show that it could be done!

They are ridiculously expensive. I probably have spent close to $800 in housings and hid kits and random crap for headlights.

I spent about 100 bucks on the stuff for the blinkers alone.. In the end though I'm still happy with how they turned out

This is why i dont have retrofits. Youre halfway into a brand new turbo kit...

They were originally just going to be a cheap standard retrofit with a set of mini h1s then I decided I wanted to get some fxr instead. Was going to use the minis for a different headlight build for one of my other vehicles until I decided to try to see if it would fit. Wasn't ever actually going to do it until I was told by several people that it was impossible....
Currently my second most regretted mod is supercharging it, only because I snapped a rod and put a hole through the block haha

My biggest regret is basically the same as the first one. The led glow behind the grille and under the lower grille. It wasn't too bad. I've been running without it now for almost a year lol. But if I were to bring it back it would have to be very dim.

I'm guessing around around 400whp. The car is getting sold this summer for a subi or something though. Not sure how other people pull it off but I wheel spin even at 100kph. It's boring and lost it fun haha!

I got the ZFR thinking it would make the car more fun, but really it lost all of its drivability. I've been having more fun with my 2.5RS Wagon with 165hp than my 450hp cobalt haha

Wouldn't the torque in the k04r hit even faster causing more wheel spin?

I'm going to say it's all in your tires then and possible part of your suspension

Yes. It's all in the tune my car and nathan's are so smooth you can run a clutch made from butter. I do not know anything about this car and will not assume but without seeing the tune i believe that is the issue here... i dont know the issue but from that post vs my logs its different information I have not yet tuned any sort or ramp for a 71 and nathan is on stock clutch and trans

Lol buying an lsj and start moding it, I know it's about making it your own but if I was smart I would have bought a Balt off of here that already has work done to it to save me money

Don't you love that you built that car to represent yourself?

Well I forgot to mention the tune since that's the most important part, but the tires do play a roll on the spinning

Sorry I'm a day late, but if you're just talking the engine and not controls/peripherals then I would have to respectfully disagree. An engine with a year's worth of that many block failures which caused a redesign of the structure without changing anything else noteworthy is a mistake of an engine.

I love what I did to it visually. We all want the cobalt to be fast so it kinda makes more sense (personal opinion) to buy a car that someone has built nice with receipts ect. For the same price for as a stock one, then just do visual/interior mods to make it personally yours. Maybe it's just me lol
