I got pulled over and the cop said i was going 5 mph faster than my speedo said. I have 18's but the overall height of the tire is the same.

My 2006 SS/SC was the same. It read 3-4 MPH higher than actual at highway speeds. It also threw off the odometer.

Well all the info is there. It sometimes reads normal but most of the time it reads 5over/5under. Tires are the size of original ones, that wouldnt throw it off that much anyway even if they were .5 to 1 inch bigger. So does anyone have a solution besides taking it in to get looked at?
