Yeah.... so I was going down the local highway going about 40 and i had to stop before going through the light because their was traffic backed up into the intersection. well I come to a complete stop and all the sudden BOOM a guy in a truck/suv of some sort slams into my rearend at like 40 miles an hour... the back of my head slams against the headrest and dazes me. All I could see is what seemed to be my bumper on top of my trunk.... i dont know how bad it is though because i couldnt get out of the car and walk since i felt like my legs were to weak to hold me up. Ill go to the towing yard tomorrow and find out how bad it is and ill take some pics and post them... this sucks bad because i just got stage 2 on like 2 weeks ago....


so in short... i got rearended from a car going approx 40 mph. while i was at a deadstop. cop said Im at no fault.

I got rear ended in practicly the same situation a little while back... the shop fixed her up good though... you'd never know she's been tagged... new rear bumper, lip, and new (GMPP) exhaust.

im sure it wont be totalled with my luck, but now I dont want it back. Its tainted and Ill always know its been hit. IF for some strange reason it is totalled I dont think Ill get another balt. Ill go up today and try to get my stuff out of it and take pictures if my insurance gets me a rental car and im up for drvining. my head still hurts pretty bad and my regular insurance agent is out until tomorrow or monday.... ill keep this updated...

this is bs. my insurance company says i need to file the claim under his insurance and that his will give me a rental car. I couldnt get the guys info because i was hurt. so i call the pd and the lady says it can be 5 days before my report is turned in and that she doesnt know where the cars are taken.... this is going to be a fucked up situation.... shouldnt my insurance be giving me a rental and then going after his insurance to pay for it?

 

go see chiropractors get a lawyer and take every penny this person has on their insurance policy i got 15k from my accident minus 5k for the lawyer.

 

Found out where the car is and the tow yard said it looks like just the plastics, etc... but he isnt sure... this sucks

 

I got t-boned 2 weeks ago. Totalled my silver 06 SSSC, I now have a yellow 07 SSSC. She had been drinking and hit me at about forty mph in passenger side. I did not get hurt.

You musta got hit pretty hard to have them tow the car.

When I got hit the car was still driveable. Sucks that I had to drive it around for a month till the parts got in.

As far as ins. goes... yes, you will need to file a claim on the other guys insurance... they will be the ones paying. The police will have all of his information... though you should have gotten an "exchange slip" with all his info on it... the police here make you fill one out before anyone leaves the scene.

 

yeah like I said the speed limit was like 45 and I didnt hear any screeching tires before the bang.... I wasnt going to call a lawyer, but now I am. Im not the one at fault, but for some reason I feel like im getting shitty treatment from everyone involved. So tonight my buddy is going to call me with the lawyes info that worked his case. my effin neck hurts, my head hurts and im getting so frustrated. thanks for all the support everyone..

well its like a state route/highway thing... its sr 162 in orting, washington.... **** even some freeways here have lights, lol

Acutally... a lot of highways have lights... HWY 29, 49, 16, and 74 all run through Charlotte... they all have lights.

 

hope you feel better man. sounds like a bad case of whiplash. maybe even a concusion in there. if they where doing 40 i think there is a good chance it is totalled. im willing to bet that the frame is twisted and your lucky the fuel tank didnt go. yea the plastic looks like ****, but its what under it.. the hidden damage... also make sure you get a new tranny if you where still in gear.
