Does anybody have these stickers on their car?

Anti-Theft Programs
Invisible Phantom Footprints

Exclusively designed by 3M for IAS, Invisible Phantom Footprints protects vehicles on six different areas with permanent, tamper-resistant labels. These labels are impossible to remove intact. When an attempt is made to remove one, a phantom image of the unique registered vehicle code number is left on the vehicle. This phantom image can be seen only under UV light.

Wow! Thank-you very much for that link!!

No. Not me. RYRO14. He lives like 3 miles from me. He has a 2009 Black SS/TC blacked out bowties, debadged the rear. CIA Catless DP, Black 3rd Gen. Headlights, 8K HID's, & the Trifecta Selecta Tune & Infiniboost.

I'm hoping he posts in here.

I took those pictures like 1 month ago from his car.

He bought the car brand new from the dealer with those stickers on it. It's pretty crazy. I have NONE on mine.

Yea. We don't know if the dealer did this, or what. He is the original owner... So my guess is that the dealer put those on. But why???

I think I have one too, or I have seen that before... It's weird as hell isn't it?

No. These stickers are underneath the hood, inside the door jams, and on the underside of the trunk.

This looks like one of those dealer installed security things, like when the place i got my car from told me they required the VIN to be etched onto all the glass. I refused so I didn't need to pay the extra 300 they were trying to charge me.

I just noticed that the other day too on mine when I was polishing my exhaust tip. What the hell is that thing there for? Makes no sense! I even asked my mom's boyfriend who was a lordstown plant manager for the first two years the cobalt was in production and during every year of the cavalier before that and he said that had to be the dumbest thing he had ever seen.

i got etched glass and all that **** when i bought the car. Its a cool security feature if your ***** stolen and its at a chop shop or they ever wind up with one of your parts. Those stickers are pretty cool too. Look slike if you peel them off they just leave the numbers on the paint that show up under black light. So id just peel them off
