Any one know the correct name of the sealant that glues the lens into the housing?


Im working on a project where prying a lens is impossible to due its frailty, and I also do not like the oven idea....SO I plan on Calling 3M and telling them the sealant name so they can reccomend a chemical adhesive remover thats plastic safe.

You need some heat. I dont think theirs anyway to get them apart other then that.

I understand...But your post does nothing for me but waste space, I clearly said heat is not an option, Im working with a tail light that can NOT be pryed in anyway else the lens will crack.
