So bought a new item for my car(2007 SS S/C) and it needs to be installed into the Intake Air Sensor(IAT)...Now the heck of the thing is that i cant seem to find the (IAT)? So i was wondering if some1 could explain where i might find this? Maybe some pictures as well!

Now this item also says that some vehicles use a combination plug for the Mass Air/IAT sensors and im not sure if our cars do? But if it does then i need to locate the Coolant Temperature Sensor. So if our cars use a combonation plug could some1 locate the Coolant Temp. Sensor for me?

Sounds like you bought a cold air intake, right? On your stock intake, it should be on the tube somewhere depending on what engine you have. On my 2.4L it was right at the top......I believe there's two torx bit screws holding it on.

 

If that's what it is then, on my 2.0 its on the intake itself, towards the top middle. Like the 2.4's, there are two torx screws that do hold it in. But the after market carrier should give you two new ones.

 

he says "installed on the IAT"...... I hope he didnt buy one of those ebay "performance chips", since that's what they wire into
