need help with hid lights

need help with hid lights

im trying to put in my hid lights and on the wireing that has the headlight theres another blue clip that plugs into the stock headlight wireing. the new clip wont fit threw the part that locks in the headlight bulb to the headlight houseing how do you get everything to fit? if needed i can get pics.

i beleive the blue peice jus stays behind it it doesnt fit inside it...mine jus chill behind

yup it did they came out really nice looking theres no DRL on my car now or Highbeams but w.e the lights are really nice looking ill post pics tonight

well i went for a drive today and my dad was in my moms car infront of me and he said that my drivers side light was blinding him but the other one was fine any ideas how to fix it? heres some pics

just adjust them. there should be a screw on the top. you really need projectors for it to work correctly. hid without proectors is a bad thing.

you will be glaring no matter what you do.

next time do a little reading about what your doing before you do it.

HID are not meant for halogen reflector headlights.
they throw glare all over the place.
Dont be surprised if the next police officer who drives past you turns around and shows you HIS blue lights.

theres an alan wrench bolt right in the middle on the top of the headlights, jus turn that and u will see which way moves it up or down...it ur left is high then jus do u right....i have HIDs and no projectors and it works jus fine.i just adjusted them last night...

im with anomolous on this one.. the light output of hid's vs regular halogen lighting is ridiculously brighter. so do everyone a favor and buy some projectors.

i have hids in stock housings.......... and anyone who says "they are fine" are full of ****, you need projectors.... right now i'm paying outta my ass to have some projectors retrofitted....... so i can see at night again LOL

i just drove it tonight for the first time and they are very clear put idk. ill see how i like them in a few week. def look nice but once i set them up right ill see

mine dont blind anyone, ive had friends drive past and in front of me and even all around cops they dont mind, IMO HID's in projectors that dont level out when going over a bump by themselves are even more blinding because it directs right in your eyes but that doesnt happen very often, HID hurt eyes no matter what their in is the moral of what im trying to say
