Need recomendations on new brakes.

My front brakes are pretty much shot. They fade very fast and dont work very well any more. I have a LS with 46000 miles. i want to change the rotors also. My question is what is your guys opinion on a good brake setup i occasionally hit the twisty back roads so i need some stopping power. Thanks in advance.

R1Concepts E-line is pretty good stuff. I just picked up all 4 slotted rotors and ceramic pads on ebay for $250 shipped. Obviously with a LS you wouldnt need all 4 so it would be alot cheaper. They shipped really fast too.

Any recommendations on brakes for a Cobalt SS/TC? Should I look into the R1 concepts?

I have always gone with Hawk pads and just OE replacement rotors.
I have had great success with the Blacks and the HP+.

Currently I have the HP+ on the front of mine and i will be replacing the rotors in about a week or so, and the pads are at 7/32 currently. And if you can get over the freight train squeaking under light braking, they are fantastic for a DD with spirited weekend driving.

I have hawk hps pads on my tc for about 25000 miles now and there is still a ton of meat left on them. I love these pads. They stop on a dime and don't give off loads of brake dust. They squeek slightly under light braking, but it's definitely no where near freight train like verbatim said.
