hey vamp, when anything goes into testing, the person doesnt have their car for a few days even weeks at a time. so stop the negativity, its stupid and u make no sence.

 

Yes that's because they're making the product and need the car to help resolve any fitment/compatibility problems before heavy production. We're talking about headlights here that can be purchased from GM Parts Direct for $102 a piece + shipping (even cheaper on eBay). Sending in your headlights really isn't that necessary.

 

Well I'll tell you what, when they do come out they are likely to be kick ass, and I'm gonna want them. Even if they don't start mass production, I will have them do something custom for me, cuz their work rocks...

 

I have two cars and I walk/ride the train to work. I can walk to the bank and the grocery store.

The sole purpose of my cobalt is pleasure!

 

I have A g5 pursuit, and I think it would be great for your company to have these lights ready to go for the realease of the G5 in the states this fall...Im 36...I have an Injen intake, catback exaust,tint,lowered,ground affects to come....I just go to car rallys every week and the track once in awhile.

 

1. I'm in college and dont make a lot of cash. But what i do make i spend on my car. This would save me a lot of dough rather than having to buy halos on ebay for 300 bucks.

I want to say how great it is for venders to offer to do this R&D to create products for our cars & Kudos to Cobalt SS.net for this site to make it all happen

This is why I am a clear choice for these lights.
1. I am a stuggling college student trying to work and pay bills for college at the same time. I have another car I can drive if I don't have headlights for a while. I plan on making my ss s/c a show/race car. My car is already at 250 hp and I only plan on making it faster I am buying 18' rims by the end of june and to top it off my cobalt is fully loaded (G85). I would have a better show vehicle b/c of the amount of work already done to it. Plus I have a sweet camera to post lots of pics of the new lights.
2. I have injen cai intake, custom 3' cat back, gm stage 2 w/2.85 pulley, spec stage 2 clutch, bm short shifter, dc sports strut bar, engine and tranny mounts, eibach lowering springs,painted red calipers. My future plans include the hahn superturbo kit when it comes out and diamond head pistons as well as a big brake kit. Also plan on removing antenna and having the car wetsanded for that baby soft feel. I have already invested about 3000.00 in parts alone and I know alot about the car I put in the stage kit myself and the intake.

4. As far as what shows I attend only everyone that I can every Thursday night I go to a meet with anywhere from 100-200 cars and I go to Moroso at least once to twice a month for the local chevy events.

Snobird I am the clear choice for this I am serious on making my car a street show car and this would only top off the custom work I already have done to my car. I hope you pick a good one.

1. Im interested in this and am looking for that specal tuch for the front of the car. This just might be it! Im not new to cars and have done all the work on the car my self. And I will do every thing I can, and there isnt much I cant do! I used to be a tec and I now drive a semi for a living. Im proud of my car and worked hard for it.
2. I have had my car for 5 months now and have already spent more then 4K in mods.
I have thus far, GM stage 2 kit, ZZP uper motor mount, Tinted windows, B&M shifter, ALT Sonixs 18" wheels, 235/40/18 BFg KDW2s, Black cat white face gauge kit (Soon to have there gen 2 kit with LED lighting. Ill be the first one as Im testing it), Raptor shift light, Magnaflow catt back, Air box mod, New K & N filter, lower grill insert from the 2.4L SS, Arm rest kit, Intens trans mounts (On the way), JBP control arm bushings (Also on the way), De badged the whole car, Have new badges being made from black vinal, Painted calapers (Red), Silver star headlights, Headlight mod (painted black), I have still to put on a custom grounding kit, and VHT night shades tint for the tail lights.
I think thats it. But I have a vary long wish list and will spend close to 4K more this year alone.
3. Im 25 years old. Ill be 26 in 2 months.
4. As for the shows, I atend a meet every 2 weeks for my car club. We have 4 members and growing. The club gose to about 8 shows per year and we will be doing 6-10 race events this year along with 2-3 cook outs.
On top of that I go to any show I can with or with out the club. As well as posting pics of the car all the time.

I have a gole for this car, I want it to perform and look beter than stock while not puting any thing on the or doing any thing to the car that dose not look like it belonges there or could have been put there stock.
All in all I want the best looking and performing car I can get without doing any thing to the car that looks off, or out of place.

My total wish list is still more then 15K. It will take me 2-3 more years to get every thing done.

yes guys it will be monday, around 3 in the afternoon central time. Amber marker lights will come standred but you will have an option to have clear ones instead and also any color choice for the halo rings. As vamp stated, he dosent like the idea of sending in headlights the reason we ask for your is we actually use some stock parts from the headlights, so you send us old ones we send you new ones simple as that you will also have the option to buy a new set for 150 usd extra and we will use the new set to make yours, but prefered to use the ones you have now these will hopefully be done in 2 weeks as far as testing wise. We just need some road testing done in different areas etc but i will post the choosen people monday at 3 pm and pm those people. Cobalt ss will get a specail rate for the lights too. Thanks.

u are planning on producing headlights for the public?... buy some from gm.... test them... market them to ppl willing to test for a discount... then go public

.... this is just not thought out very well. not that i 'discriminate' vendors trying to help out.... im all for that. this is a bit over the top.

SEND US YOUR HEADLIGHTS!!! ... you will get a test pair back... pffft.. u should at least provide 2 test 'winners' with free lights for their labor and commitment

 

yes the lights are free we use the parts of the persons set to make the new ones testing is pretty much done but if company workers tell you they are good then you could say company workers just want your money therefore we get people we dont hav ties with to test our product see how they like it and get their reviews and then we will sell he lights here along with their reviews. ReMz if you do any reasearch you will see we have done 1,000s of lights and when new products come out we get a couple sets out for free for public testing so you get real reviews of the product and not some bullshit reviews and its pretty much same as core charge you send yours to us once we get shipping conforimation we then build yours and ship then we use your set you shipped us for the next customeer cause we have to cut the lights etc

 

1) You should choose me because you can have my lights for as long as you want. The car is garaged at the moment, awaiting my return to the country. I can make arangements for the lights to be installed professionaly and for the car to be test driven daily. Plus I am tired of my Cobalt looking like the others, and I would enjoy the bright lights for back road driving.
2) Currently the car has a custom magnaflow exhuast with performance cat. The windows are 20% with the rear being 15%. Everything audio was also pulled and replaced with alpine type r products. I plan on lowering the car and adding a RK Sport kit, add intake and header, and short throw shifter upon my return.
3)Yes, I am 21.
4)This is the downside. I have taken the car to local j-body meets and cobalt meets in the texas are. Unfurtunitly I can try to arrange for the car to be driven to these, but i cant garantee this part.

Once these get going we will have a system where once you confirm your shipping number for your stock lights we will produe your lights and ship. Pic will be out hopefully in a week to 2 weeks max and then we will become a vendor and everybody wont have to pay 300 usd for those ebay lights.
