So Im about to buy a 2007 cobalt SS/SC , I see Alot of people with the 05-06. The one Im looking at has 10.000 miles on it for 17500 total out the door. am i getting a good deal?
Also Ive worked on some cars but never really modded any. Any advice and will this be a good car to learn on?

what are some mods i should do first. this car stock can smoke all the "tuner" cars that these car groups have. i want to Destroy them though. not just beat them. there is a grand prix.(stock) , probe (stock) couple scions (stock maybe a turbo) etc etc except for theyre body kits.
is the supercharger better? or should i get a turbo?
i need a list of things that would bring this car to its Full Potential.

Yeah there is a lot of options, I would look around and see what fits your budget/taste/goals.
Hint: A turbo will give you more power than the supercharger, but it costs a lot more.
Stage 2 is a nice inexpensive upgrade that gives a good boost in performance.

first mods = anti wheel hop mods. mounts, bushings, etc. power is useless if you cant get it to the ground. wheel hop>these cars.
then you can worry about adding horsepower with exhaust, more boost, bigger injectors, cooling mods, whatever.

yea thats a good deal.........were in ohio are you from
edit......yea its a good car to learn on but to be honest dont waste ur money on stupid stuff like mounts etc.......their unnessecary(spelling) unless u wanna get ur track times down to the nearest millionth of a second and u race from a dig alll day every day....if u do mod just go with normal things like exhaust, CAI, GM stage 2 etc...

You will have saved $6,000 off the price of a new one.
With that savings, immediately order the Stage 2 kit and have a dealer install it.
Your GM warranty will remain fully intact and you will have a 245hp mini jet!
