New Car?

Considering selling the 06' SS and getting something new. I've been considering a newer WRX..not too sure what I want. Preferably AWD and quality in winter as I live in MA.

What does everyone think?

I wouldn't mind an 06' A6 maybe..

My plan in the future is an S4 though.

I'm not familiar with this I'll have to check it out. If it's around 24k new I'd possibly be interested. Not really versed at all with Mitsubishi cars though.

a evo 8 or evo 9 gud aftermarket base, i love the sti hatchbacks as well, try sumtin diff maybe, do u want 2 or 4 doors, if 2 doors get a 06 pontiac gto... almost everything else your cobalt could walk on if you modify it. but besides racing others have better interiors. i love the gto interior.

Granted this is denver, and AWD cars here are usually 2-3000 higher than normal.

My buddy has an 04' GTO..I'm not too impressed with it. Honestly I'm looking for a more practical but still awesome car. 4 Doors, Semi luxury interior, at least DECENT gas mileage and AWD for rough winters. Oh and of course some pick up and go!

That's where I find myself not envisioning a WRX as my next mid level car.

Let me know how it goes. I really would like to spend no more than 24k total. And leather/heated seats are a must have too. I'll probably never make it happen..on top of that I've gotten next to no interest in my 06' for sale. Once I have access I'll post it up here and hopefully have some luck.

I know you said you wanted decent gas mileage, but what about a Diesel truck?

I honestly would consider it. If I don't get an AWD speedy sedan I'd like a diesel truck.

I have a german shepherd that rides in my car from time to time, so no leather seats for me. Just have a cover that goes over my back seats in the cobalt. Hoping to get as close to 25k as possible.

I got a 6k offer. NO THANKS. My car is nearly in excellent condition and i owe 6k. I can't accept less than 9,500. I have no problem keeping it either I just want something new it's been 5 years.

Any idea of the average Cobalt SS life expectancy? Engine, Tranny, Etc?

Lots of members have cars well over 100k miles. I owe 12k on mine, paying 1k a month on it now. Budgeting like a ****! And a new car part just came in. Just need to take my car to a real tuner and get it running tip top. If I hold onto it I'd be ok with it, like I said turbo is next.

There was an LSJ that went over 220k. He got hit from behind and it got totalled, but it was going strong till then.

highest LNF I saw was 169k

Right on! And good to know..I've taken pretty good care of mine and I'm just pushing 88k..so lots of life left then. I SHOULD just pay the 6k off but I've been waiting until it sells. If that ever happens. Haha.
