I even found the shifter in the LS is fine, no problems whatsoever and the travel is less than I thought it would be. Being new it is still stiff in spots but I'd rather that than having play while in gear or not, but the first time I drove it off the lot, getting into second and third was almost a challenge because it kept wanting to stop in neutral
!
Glad to hear you like it...I've been considering throwing a short-shifter in my LS once I get a better handle on driving standard. I currently have 1 month of experience with it under my belt and bought one (standard) after driving my friend's Civic for a whopping 45 mins
! Seems GM did a great job on the standard side...no problems with the stick popping out or having too much play, I just gotta break 'er in a little still (2000km and counting).

The problem is how far upsidedown I am with my current truck.
