Mine was pretty much an impulse buy. I've been wanting the car forever and wanted to get out of my truck. The numbers came back appealing so I drove it off the showroom floor.

That does suck

Some Nyquil should knock you out pretty good

Good luck with the car!

I'm still thinking of buying one. Does the car shift well or is the stock shifter kinda sloppy?

Test drive one and find out I find it to be a very positive and solid shifter.

Dude i love the shifter, its great not sloppy at all, it has the quik shift and its so nice putting it in gear, there are no problems, the only thing that got me at first like in all new cars/clutches what getting up the hills at a stop sign. But I go over that after the sexond hill. Its great man i would stick with the stock shifter. What i suggest is take a test drive, il sure you will love it though

I hope to take one for a test drive this weekend. The problem is how far upsidedown I am with my current truck.

I even found the shifter in the LS is fine, no problems whatsoever and the travel is less than I thought it would be. Being new it is still stiff in spots but I'd rather that than having play while in gear or not, but the first time I drove it off the lot, getting into second and third was almost a challenge because it kept wanting to stop in neutral !

Glad to hear you like it...I've been considering throwing a short-shifter in my LS once I get a better handle on driving standard. I currently have 1 month of experience with it under my belt and bought one (standard) after driving my friend's Civic for a whopping 45 mins ! Seems GM did a great job on the standard side...no problems with the stick popping out or having too much play, I just gotta break 'er in a little still (2000km and counting).
