New car ,interior stinks

Unhappy New car ,interior stinks

I always buy leather interiors, this car has cloth.....I dont know if the carpet or upholstery has sum chemical in it or what, but it smells bad.Has any one else experienced this ?I dont know if I can spot test and try sum deodorizer on it or what....any sugestions ?

It will go away over time, it is after all brand new. Lol. Put an air freshener in the cabin air filter it will help the smell be less noticeable.

I put an air freshener in there last night...it was like the lip stick on a pig effect.....I can smell the cover up....but the stink too !

I have leather in all of my other cars.....yeah ! leather rocks....get Zaino leather cleaner and Zaino leather conditioner....you will love the stuff !

the new car smell is caused by all the glue's in the carpets and the smell of the new plastics .. i used to work at a Gm assembly plant and one job i did was installing the rear trunk floor carpets and they freakin stink and the fibers that came off them would stick to your clothes so bad we had to wear a respirator and special gloves.. as everyone said the smell will go away air that bitch out lol

I have a spray, but I can't remember the name right now (at work) and it smells just like the new car smell. I spwar it like once a week or two, and I love it!

black ice is just a scent of the pine tree type air fresheners, they smell amazing, i think so anyway haha

Try bounty dryer sheets. Call me crazy I think it pulls in the odor to the sheet.
It also makes your car smell fresh.
