2001 Chevy Borrego:
The 2001 Chevrolet Borrego is a "sports adventure vehicle" concept car. It is designed as a crossover between a sports utility vehicle and a passenger car. The concept car uses a Subaru engine, a MacPherson strut front suspension and an all wheel drive (AWD) drivetrain. In design, the Chevy Borrego is said to be influenced by Baja racers. Thus, there is a certain amount of rally car influence in the Chevy Borrego car design. So far, the Chevy Borrego has not gone into production so it may remain one of those vehicles that always remain as a concept car.

The Borrego was based on a Subaru platform, with GM selling it's stake in Subaru that concept is not going to happen. It did look cool though.

 

again, i said on the first post of this thread it looks like a matrix on steroids. Needless to say i hate it.

i personally think its an Opel Astra (soon to be a Saturn in the states! ) on steroids.
