No, that's horrible though!!!! The chick who sold me my car told me that if I put anything less than a 4/5 on some of those questions, she didn't get paid as much...but she sure didn't offer to fill the thing out for me. Sounds like someone could get in trouble over that one.

You wouldn't happen to have gone to Brown & Brown would you? I went there and they said if I brought back the questionaire I got a free tank of gas, and if it was rated all 5/5 I would get a free dash mat. I read the questionaire and it said to mail it to GM, not the dealer. I didn't mark all perfect, because they lied and screwed up my financing and didn't care about the dash mat, but did get my tank of gas.

Side note: Where in Az you at? Have you checked the South West Region Threads?

The folks at my dealership said I'd get a $25 gas card once I filled the survey out. Never got it lol. It's okay though, I raped them and got my SS for essentially $15k.

Well I say "essentially" because in the end I ended up paying $19k lol. Here's the summary story. I went to the dealership and acted like a complete jerk. I took a silver CSS that was out in the lot for a test drive and told them I enjoyed it, but I wanted one off the showroom floor. They said the Arrival Blue (one I have now) on the showroom had 40 miles on it, but was $23,xxx and $21,xxx after the GM discount. I told them I had a mustang that I still owed money on and that regardless of what "deal" they can give me I am not paying $20k for the cobalt and being upside down on my mustang. They were desperate, because they told me to get my mustang and let them appraise it. So I brought the stang up to the dealership and they said they'd give me $3k for it...and I said Nope and proceeded to leave. The sales guy went out and "talked to the techs" about my car and came back and offered $6k. I said that's good for me, but I'm still upside down by $4k so I can't do it. When it was all said and done, they marked the Cobalt down to around $15k and then added what I owed on the mustang, which still came out to $19k. So essentially I got the Cobalt for $15k and am paying the rest of the mustang off. Granted my payments are $560 a month, but that's a 4 yr term , I pay double every six months to be in "pre-paid" status so most of my payments go straight to principle. I owe about $16,500 and I've had the car since July 4th.

I never got a questionair. And when you take in for service at a dealer you're supposed to get one, also. Never recieved any of those. The only survey I ever got in the mail was for J.D. Power. I do get phone calls after I get service (always my cell phone while I'm working, too ), but that's it.

Everything was great except the financing. They told me they would go through my credit union because I could get a lower APR (I could also pay my bill online) and I was supposed to be the primary and my Dad the co-signer. They had asked us to re-sign the paperwork, because they "mixed up the information" saying my Dad and I filled out the info in the opposite order. I looked at it and it wasn't labeled which was the primary, and which was the secondary. I asked them if it would be under my name and not his and they said yes. When I got my payment book in the mail they used their bank, but with my CU's APR and had my Dad as the primary and me as the co-signer. They also registered the car under my Dad, not me.

When you get to PHX, you should keep an eye out for our group meets. We are talking of getting one together sometime after the holidays, early next year.

I personally think that's BS....I'd write on it and tell GM that the dealership offered to do that for you.

what would GM do for ME if i wrote about? like i said i had no probs and i would rate the whole process from intro to final signing perfect. **** if the salesman gets more money then be it, i robbed them it took me a week to negotiate a proper price, talkin back and forth to dealerships. it was fun and they still remember me cuz i called to see if as soon as i go in they would have my mat, but the part dept. was closed

I don't think GM would do a thing for you. They might come down on the dealership. If the salesman did a good job, let them know. Be honest....that was my point. I think that if GM wanted there surveys filled out by the dealerships, they'd send them one instead of us.
I wasn't offered anything like that. No, I am not bitter I'd get what I can out of the dealer, trust me, I do... It's the whole principle of the survey. They are not, in my opinion, giving reliable data. I help design them for some Navy Medical Schools and maybe that being in my background I am biased.

Get what you can....get some more, then get even more....

if they had shitty service i wouldnt give it to them, and id fill it out and give ratings they deserve, but once again like i said everything was perfect, i even got 3 calls from the dealership just to make sure everything was good. wouldnt any of u wanna hook someone up like a friend or something with some good marks, i dont personally know them but it close enough to hook em up.
