only thing I want from that list is the common antenna for xm/onstar but I have heard that they are having problems with it, it is the same antenna on the Solstice and that has kept onstar from being offered on the Solstice, it is on hold right now.....

I own an LS and I was wondering if mine would lose value, since LS will be the new base model. But then again, doesn't the book value go by what the car is equipped with, not just trim level?

Book value also goes by trim level. The LS will have a higher value than the base model.

your not going to lose value just because they have changed the trim level names.

That's a fake picture. We need a picture of a real car to compare.

If the dealerships follow the standard procedure on a re-sell, they should follow what is in the "black book" which will still show in '05 an LS was higher than a base Cobalt. The thing I find somewhat annoying is once the '06s are out, seeing as my car is badged LS and the '06 base is going to be badged LS, my car is now going to "appear" to be the same thing...and I guarantee the price tag I paid on the fully-loaded LS is nowhere close to the base model !
