Hey all. I'm looking to get a Cobalt SS in the next year, I have a few questions hopefully someone can answer. 1. LNF or LSJ? 2. If LNF or LSJ, how is the reliability and are there commons problems I should look out for? I'm leaning towards LNF obviously because on paper is gots 260 HP and 260 ft lbs. soo... that sounds great haha

welcome to the forum.

really depends on what you're looking for as a final product and what you want to do with the car which will determine which one you should get. but over all vs over all. lnf is the better choice.

Welcome! LNF vs LSJ has been a big debate on this site ever since the LNF came out. My opinion on it is, if you can afford the newer, lower mileage car, get that. Both cars are very reliable when taken care of. Each has their own minor issues that come up randomly, but it's nothing major, just little things like the lsj supercharger coupler or the LNF HPFP oil leak. The LSJ will be significantly cheaper than the LNF, typically gets better fuel mpg, and likely have higher mileage. The LNF is easier to make power on, and has slightly better suspension and brakes. And the exhaust note sounds significantly better. Both are great cars. You can't go wrong either way.

And nothing personal to you, but expect this thread to devolve quickly into a pissing match between which is better, it always does when this question is asked.

Welcome! Both are great cars and will yield good results no matter where you want to take it.

The LNF will be cheapest to get 350 to 400 HP/TQ out of but the LSJ will yield the most power when you turbo swap it. That being said, I had an LSJ but didnt want to spend the money to make the power

if you want cheap power, but nothing to crazy lnf, want big power, something crazy, lsj

i personally say lnf because of the little things like seats (yes i like them better then the recaros) and the brakes. oh and of course the mesh grill
