You will love it. I love it on my 2.2LT. It'll scream from 3k up to redline! Nice investment if you ask me!!!

That's the same that I put on my 07. It sounds great!! It's pretty easy to install also, if your doin it yourself that is.

That sounds like a great deal. I am thinking about that same combination on my car when it comes to exhaust time for me. Let me know how it fits and sounds so I can know when I get mine.

there is zero welding involved on the installation, and you would NEVER weld something to get it off...

no welding needed.. you'll have to cut the old system off, and the new one should bolt right on.. if you plan on doin it yourself, take your time to line to new system up.. there may be some tweekin required on the new one. you'll love it..

I have the exact same setup and i literally have the best sounding 4 cylinder in the area. Let me also recommend the GM honed exhaust manifold. This will make it sound even better!!!

I beleive a member of this forum actually dyno'd a 12 hp gain to the wheels just from the GM catback exhaust alone!

I cut mine just before the rear end. Ya reuse your rubber insulators and just bolt up the new. There's no welding. Everything just clamps together. it took maybe 20 min total.

it's very simple... unbolt the old exhaust, and you have to cut it to get it over the rear axle... you'll see where because it won't come out otherwise! you can use anytyhing for this, a sawzall would be ideal, but you could use a hacksaw if needed...

once the old exhaust is off, put the new one on, SLIGHTLY tighten the bolts so that they'r eholding it in place, but don't full tighten yet. once everything is lined up and good to go, work your way back and tighten all the bolts. that's pretty much it

12hp from a catback? Seriously? That's pretty unheard of, the stock exhaust on the SS must be crazy restrictive because a cat back is typically just a noise maker.

For $30.00 I got a hydraulic jack and jack stands for the install. Can't go wrong there.

Yeah, for god's sake use stands and do it somewhere nice and flat. Or you can find a muffler shop to put it in on under the table for you for under $50.. crawling under the bitch can make for a shitty day if it starts getting wet/cold outside..

when I put mine on I had to use a hack saw and that totally sucked. But other than that it was almost to easy. I think I have a slight leak.... but I dont really care cause I think it sounds better that way anyways lol

w00t its sittin here- good service from crate engine ordered it monday afternoon and its here on wednesday- standard shipping can't beat that

i hope i dont get an exaust leak tho lol . i gotta tell this guy thats doing it not to use an air wrench thats all that i read in the instructions.

but the guy ive found actually does bending and stuff right there on the spot so i HOPE he knows what he is doing and doesnt try to make the install harder then it is cuz it does seem real easy after readin the instructions, like i said before my only issue is just gettin underneath it sooo. not much of a choice to go there

w00t!
