I just purchased a 2005 cobalt ss not long ago, however i noticed that I can see my blower motor from where the passenger footwell is. Shouldn't there be a panel here, or should it be open? Thanks in advance.

no picture yet, but under the glovebox the blower motor (the fan that blows your heat and a/c) is clearly visible...visible as in i can touch it. Usually there is a plastic panel here that covers it so it is not visible or accessible without removing it. Should there be one on the cobalt? I really believe I got my car from the dealership with this piece missing.

 

Hey, I took a few minutes to check it out on my CobaltSS/SC and I can see the same thing. Nothing to worry about. I guess, if and when it goes out it will be a little easier to remove right. No big deal though, I think your Good to GO!!!!
