Exclamation New HID Failure

Hi guys. I'm having an issue with my new HID system and am hoping you guys can relieve my concerns. About two weeks ago I received my twin halo projectors, the vendor I purchased them from (Speed Infiniti on eBay) installed the HID system for me so all I had to do was install and aim. Just experienced a problem, though. On my way home from school, I noticed my right HID went dead and is failing to start back up. I know there's power to the projectors because the high-beams and halos are functioning properly, but that low-beam won't start up. I verified all connections were secured, but still no luck. Anyone else have this problem and/or a solution? Thanks.

Bad Ballast, do you have to switch it on and off to get it to work?

no the light will not start at all, just tried it again. I can hear that metal box humming during start-up though.. and the system wasn't made preinstalled, I had the seller install it for me because I know nothing about this stuff (notice I don't even know what that metal box is?)

Probably your bulb then......

The "metal box" would be your ballast w/ im assuming built in ignitors, that is what gives the bulb its power

how does the bulb die when it's brand new and how can I get a new one? I paid almost $400 for the set I would expect it to work longer than 2 weeks! :-(

Looks like I lied.. I spent over $300... but anyway this is what I bought incase it helps you know wtf I'm talking about..

I just sent an e-mail to the seller to ask how they plan on fixing the issue... isn't this lovely? The bulb dies the night I need it most (Severe winter storm warning).

Thanks for youe help guys... the bulb all of a sudden started working again a few hours after my second attempt and has been fine... I'm so confused why it was being pissy with me. OMG my stupid lower grille thing fell out AGAIN. It keeps costing me $100 to have it replaced with the dealership! Don't these stupid things screw in? You'd think they were just putting it there with a piece of scotch tape.
