New Lip for the Cobalt?

Hello Cobalt SS Owners!

We are extremely interested in becoming a verified vendor on this forum in the very near future. We do custom prototyping on new parts, mainly front lips. All of our parts are made in the USA and have a minimal turn around time of 30-45 days. That means, making the initial lip then making the mold, which will then allow us to manufacture the lips in mass quantity.

We typically need a couple weeks to make the the lip from scratch (clay) and then making the mold. One of the reasons we can't become vendors right away. This is more to gauge interest in what the Cobalt SS owners are looking for? Please feel free to post any feed back as to what lip you would want to see made, whether its a new design or an old design.

Why would you go with someone like us? Well the reason we're different is because all of our parts are poly injected, meaning all the parts we make are 100% Polyurethane. A lot of us love to slam our vehicles to the floor and no fiberglass lip can with stand the bottoming out or scraping of a lip like a polyurethane lip can!

Feel free to take a look at our latest work on our last forum GB: 97-99 Lexus SC300/400 Polyurethane Lip.. It's Here!! - Club Lexus Forums

Thank for coming by the thread. I look forward to hearing from you all and we can't wait to help the Cobalt SS community!!

so i clicked that ebay link on the sc forums. youve only sold 1 item and have no feedback.

you also have no website, and have 19 likes on your "company's" facebook page.

also upon further looking it appears you've stolen Extreme Dimensions pictures of the Tjin edition trunk and put them on your page.

The Tjin trunk was Tjin's design. But I was the clay modeler that made the trunk. Also, the link given is for the Group Buy that was conducted. Check the bottom of the first post and you'll see how many people jumped on board.

Sorry. Forgot to mention, the reason we haven't posted our company info is because we don't want to break any forum advertising rules. Once we become vendors we will post all the legitimate info that you require to make a safe purchase. This is just to gauge interest and see what the people of this forum want.

that explains the pictures then. would you mind pm'ing me with your info? i'd like to allow you to use my lip/bumper for the molding process but i'd like to get it back if you know what i mean lol.

other than the rkspork which doesn't look good on the factory ss lip kit. theres the koni series lip and time attack lip, which are a very pretty penny.

We're located in Southern California. So it would be best to find a local owner. Trying to get your bumper shipped here and shipped back to you can cost a pretty penny. You can probably fly here round trip for less then that lol.

We're thinking of making it functional like the Time Attack lip so we can drag more air into the cooler as well.

im not trying to be a negative nancy but 3/4 if not more of this forum will not buy a time attack style lip. its wayy too damn big. Its already offered and only a handful of people have it and the rest of us who dont ..well its for a reason. Now a cleaner koni style lip or an oem lip in CF or something clean and simple would be something more intriguing to this forum. just my .02

Looks good but thats a completely different front end. The lip is attached to the bumper.

As far as front lips, I like the koni lip. Also I would like to see a similar lip off the cobalt 272 concept.

And if possible, a rear diffuser.
